Our Team

Our team includes a Brand & Marketing Strategist, Copy Writer & Editor, Designer, FAA Certified Drone Pilot, Photographer, a Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing Specialist and a translator (Spanish/English).  Combined we have over a century of marketing experience.

About Seth

I’ve been working in marketing since the mid-1990s when I represented a local credit union at public relations events and updated their newsletter during college. Over 20 years later my passion for marketing and helping small business still exists and serves as the driver for starting Seth Duke & Co.

My Experience. My experience includes over 20 years of marketing communications experience and over 8 years of marketing communications leadership in global, national and regional business environments.  I also have over 15 years of nonprofit board experience and over 8 years of experience working in nonprofit business environments.

I currently work full time as the marketing director for O&G Industries – one of the country’s Top 400 construction companies according to ENR magazine’s annual Top 400 LIST. In addition, I’m a frequent presenter for the Small Business Administration’s SCORE program speaking on marketing topics and have been published in national magazines, including the construction industry’s High Profile magazine.

My Expertise.  As the leader of Seth Duke & Company, my expertise includes Brand Development, Marketing Strategy & Planning, Corporate Communications, Community Relations, Crisis Communications and Digital Marketing.

My Education.  My Education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Central Connecticut State University. I also hold an MBA in Marketing from Post University. In addition, I am a Certified Business Advisor through the Small Business Administration’s SCORE program.

Community Leadership. I’m a strong believer in giving back to the community.  My community leadership includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Mattatuck Museum, the Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury and on the Steering Committee for the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Waterbury program.  I also serve as a Chair for the Plymouth Office of Economic Development.
